    Somewhere, East Coaster is smiling.

Laura Schott goal in the 73rd minute was the difference as the Charge lose their first pre-season game 1-0. There's a writeup on the Freedom website.

Yes,I'm very happy she finally got sometime up front. She is a great finisher. She may not make the team, but not from lack of ability. On another board it was said there was luck was involved. Well W/ my 38 yrs. in sports and coaching there is a few things I've noticed. One being the harder you work the luckier you get. I do wish her well. Someone should give this young lady a contract. I'm not going to go on about her accomplishments, I'll just say if anyone cares to look they speak loudly. She has shown very well according to Gabrarra. Why he doesn't sign her is a Mystery to me.

thanks to the reports on the DC boards...

    krikorian was showing nothing again...

    lot's of long ball...

we all know, that's NOT how the charge play...

sounds like the scrimmage went the same pattern as the maryland scrimmage...

charge just out there the 1st half and becoming more interested the 2nd half...
