So what's the chance the Charge front off could arrange ticket acquisitions much like the MANU-BARCA match??

Eagles season ticketholders, per Joe Banner, will get first crack at the two WWC dates. That was made clear in the Inquirer story this morning. So in this particular case, the Charge, if such a move I suggested is afoot, may this time have to wait their turn here.

http://philadelphiacharge.com/368225.html is the backup URL just in case a SD preview knocks it off the main page.

Those already subscribed to the Charge newsletter shouldn't have to worry, but just to be on the safe side, it's best if you go through the walk-through they have there again. :)

Since the dates and times for WWC games will be announced Monday, if memory serves, perhaps we'll find out what special stuff the Charge have in store for the STH'ers and others who sign up sooner rather than later.

USSoccerFan.com also has their thing and my impression is that it may come before everything else.

I am also trying to get Sachin Shah's USASupporters involved.

I'm signed up with the usssoccer.com site too.

right now, it appears there are 3 doubleheaders in Philly, meaning we'll see 12 of the 16 teams...

sitting with Charge fans, we probably could get more cheering for Pichon and France, than if we were spread out all over the place

Allez les Bleues! I was told by a friend who is friends with the wife of Richard Groff that we were getting the 20th and the 25th. Now they talked about a conflict on the 21st but that's boloney. No conflict! This is more important than the Phillies!

The lease agreements for the respective teams (Phillies & Eagles) specifically state you can't have competing events in the stadiums on the same day, except if the Phillies are in the playoffs. So the Phillies it turned out, were the fly in the ointment. At least IMO...

That's idiotic. Where do they come up with these things? Does that include concerts?

Oops...should have stated sporting events only.

    Sorry.

Okay. But it's still idiotic. The teams have far too much control. I mean why do we need two stadiums for a football and a baseball team. They both should be playing on grass.

The Phillies have agreed to a TIME change for their game so there is NO conflict...

I understand there will be 3 doubleheaders here...

Initial match the 20 or 21, one of the #1 group seeds will be here...

so it's China or Norway or Germany...

and then the other game of the doublheader would be the TWO other teams in the USA group who are NOT playing USA in the 1st match...

My suspicion is the 1st match, the kick-off match will be China...giving them the honor of kicking off the tourney
