Anybody think that, once currently injured players are finally healthy again, that we have a shot at the top four? I'd say we can as long as we can obtain another strike partner for Keane. Teddy's a skilled player, sure, but at his age, I wonder if he really has the juice to play every week for a whole season.
I agree, a Champions League place is within reach, but only if Hoddle lays off his exotic tactics. Poyet on the left wing? Donut! And Sheri is getting too old. We need an out-and-out goalscorer. Keano is good but he's not 'it'. Maybe Malcolm Christie of Derby or Morientes (please God!) will be coming in January. We shall see. Also losing to Sunderland in such a pathetic fashion does not give me high hopes for a CL place, but you never know.
Well, i also heard a rumor about Jon Dahl Tommasson on loan from AC Milan, but i would much rather have Morientes. He'll add style, and flair. As for CL, all of you know in the back of your minds that it all depends if we can get a Result at Highbury the next fixture. Who knows, maybe Morientes will be watching. That brings me to Sunderland, man what a bad game Spurs played. not firing on any cylinders. it was pathetic
Wait and See After the sad sad display v Sunderland I won't be counting on a CL place... Spurs have shown flashes of brillance along with falshes of utter crap. Should be an interesting rest of the season. That aside I love seeing a thread about the possibility of a CL place... who would have thought it.
Jon Dahl Tommason? He was over here at Newcastle a few years back. How people laughed! He's rubbish! He couldn't hit a cows arse with a banjo! C'mon Morientes! I did read that he does check Spurs results, and McManaman has filled him in with the gory's. I'd rather he checked the results than actually watch games 'cos lets face it, we've been poo all season (except V. Charlton.)
[RESULT] Now that's funny!!!! I was dreaming of CL until our utter shite performance of last week. We are waaaaaaaaaayyyy too inconsistent to finish fourth or better. Now this pathetic Arsenal drubbing has me fearing a downward spiral.......... Now that I think about it, it seems like the shorter and shorter our injury list becomes, the suckier we play.
