This will impress you, no doubt.

I played golf in Florence (Oregon) about 25 years ago.

unfortunately the smell of fish turns my wife's stomach so they are basically verboten at our house.

I was impressed. You told me a while back. I think of that when I pass the links. 3or 4 days in the week.
The city of Frorence has taken over the course now. My son in law played it last time over.

The real joke about Liverpool coming here was we don't even have a high school footy team.

They were a Sunday staple Sundays in ar'ouse. For a splurge they were inter spaced with salt cod.

When I moved out I found the holy grail. Boil in bag boneless kippers! :)
All the flavour non of the annoying bones. Bliss

I'll be at the Notre Dame match for those keeping track and will probably be hitting the Boss night event prior to the match. On a side note, my twin brother is a soccer coach at the local high school near Notre Dame and his assistant met Juergen today and took the most amazing selfie with him today. So jealous.

Klopp is what we tend to call a Menschenfänger, a people's catcher. A Pied Piper

    Why?

He was (when not down or recovering from injury) for a couple of season ... the guy who covered the most ground on the field for us when playing. Very good endurance record has Adam Lallana.

Didn't Joe Allen do exactly that for a year... for me, he was a bit similar to Adam Lallana ...

In major games, if Fabino can't start in that spot, my vote goes to Henderson, with Wij or Keita further forward

*- not that we get a vote, like.... ;):p

Yeah, Adam after he's worked himself into a regular place on the team has been a great team player with decent ball skills. He's never been great at finding the net but he has helped others to. But just as he seems to have found some form. Bang! He breaks again. Shame really, I'd like to see him have a good season before moving on.

In his first three season at Anfield, Lallana scored 17 league goals in 81 appearances. He hasn't scored in the league since.

In Steven Gerrard first three (productive) seasons at Anfield, he scored 15 league goals in 95 appearances. Since then Gerrard scored 105 league goals in around 400 appearances.

Granted, Lallana had several seasons of football under his belt, but it is an interesting contrast.

No AFCON title for Mane....combo of his garbage teammates and Algeria kicking the shit out of Senegal and scoring one of the flukiest goals ever.

Sad for Sadio. He's going to be devastated. Hopefully he gets some rest and bounces back.

Jordan Henderson, Virgil van Dijk, Andy Robertson, Georginio Wijnaldum and Trent Alexander-Arnold return to the Liverpool squad for the pre-season encounter with Borussia Dortmund.

The quintet are named on the bench at Notre Dame Stadium in Indiana against the Bundesliga giants.

Andy Lonergan is also among the substitutes in the United States; however, the Reds are without Adam Lallana (dead leg) and Bobby Duncan (foot) purely as precautionary measures due to minor knocks.

Liverpool: Mignolet, Clyne, Matip, Gomez, Larouci, Fabinho, Milner, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Wilson, Kent, Origi.

Subs: Lonergan, Atherton, Van Dijk, Wijnaldum, Lovren, Henderson, Brewster, Robertson, Lewis, Phillips, Jones, Hoever, Woodburn, Alexander-Arnold.

Larouchi getting the start may mean that Klopp prefers him over Lewis, since Robertson will probably play the 2nd half.

It will be interesting what the 2nd half team is. Lots of defenders on the bench and Brewster is the only forward. Maybe Klopp will give a couple of the first half players more than 45 minutes.

Not great to see Lallana missing. He need the games as much as anyone.

30 minutes gone, and pretty poor performance from Liverpool so far. We gave away a bad goal after 3 minutes and are trailing 1-0.

We should have scored 5 goals that half.

    And given up 2-3.
