Gomez with incredible pace and a great tackle to break up a counter attack. We were opened up way to easily there. Firmino and Shaq off after 30 minutes. Brewster and Milner on. Nice opportunity for Rihan to play with Salah for few minutes.
Its hard to believe that Hoever is just 17. What a player. And he just got booked for a bad challenge.
Halftime. 2-1 to Liverpool. Salah and Keita finished the full 45 minutes. All four of the returning players looked really sharp. Great to see the attacking talent back on the pitch. Adam Lallana was really good as the #6. Joe Gomez looks very good. Ki Jana Hoever is a future star. At just 17 he has so much ability. Thriving at right back right now, but you get the feeling that he can play anywhere on the pitch. Brewster played a really good ball to set up a good chance for Salah at the end of the half. I'm looking forward to seeing more of him in the 2nd half.
