So who do we want to win?

I definitely don't want Kenyon winning it or making it to the final - I want that sumbitch fired! I vote for Monaco since they seem to pose the least threat to us next season. My biggest concern is for clubs with big cash winning and then driving up transfer prices.

I'd want chelsea to win it just because of Ranieri. After all the backstabbing he's been through this season.

Chelsea, because it would be great to have the top 3 in the prem all hoist a trophy it would be a testament to the parity of the league....

    In this order:

    1. Deportivo
    2. Chelsea (would be #1 if not for Kenyon)

    3. Monaco

    4. Porto (divers)

Chelsea. I support all English teams in Europe, even Arsenal.

If not, then I'd like Monaco to win it as they deserve something for thrashing Deportivo 8-3 and getting rid of Overrated Madrid.

    Speaking of Madrid:

    1) What is the consensus here on Querioz....will he be sacked?

    2) Will Madrid buy any defenders or sell any of their aging superstars? (funny how this relates to #1, really, as their failure to solidify their defense is, in my mind, the reason for their slippage in Spain and CL this season)

Parity? In the Premier League??

Chelsea's the obvious choice if you're an English football fan.

This is good. I hate Man United but I didn't want them to go out of Europe, it's good for the English sides to do well. So I guess you could say I support all English teams in Europe, even Man United. ;)

I voted for Chelsea, on account of Ranieri and all the crap he has had to endure this year. Through it all he has shown class and dignity as every name under the sun has been linked with his job. And anyone that knocks off Arsenal will get my nod.

I cheer for the British teams in the European competitions; Chelsea in the CL and Celtic in the UEFA Cup.

One of my co-workers thinks Madrid will fire Queiroz and hire Ranieri....that will be Chelsea's loss!

I'd rather Chelsea because I'm glad that any EPL club succeeds in Europe. I was cheering for Leeds when they got to the semis a few years back too.

Yep. I can't really say I cheer for Liverpool in Europe, but I'm kind of neutral to them I guess. But other than that, even though I hate Kenyon, I like Ranieri and I really admire some of Chelsea's players like Lampard, Jimmy Floyd, and Duffman.

Except for Kenyon, Chelsea have a likeable side with players that are fun to watch.

I will say that their midfield buys have panned out well in the long run...except for Cole and Veron. Maybe SAF was right to sell him. But Makelele (couldn't Madrid use him now?), Duff and Parker have been solid buys.

Their up front buys haven't panned out as well....Crespo and Mutu played well early on but haven't done much lately.

None of them are rather appealing...even with Ranieri, Chelsea embodies the spend and win philosophy (and Mr. Abromavich has some shady past dealings in which he got that money)...Porto is diving scum and I can't wait to see that smug bastard Mourinho get trounced...Monaco is a plaything of a monarch and wouldn't exist if not for his money...and Depor. Sigh.

Yeah, Liverpool and Arsenal are about the only English clubs I really really hate no matter what.

A true Man United supporter would've included City.

But City would have to get into Europe for that to happen! (besides the start of this season, not any time soon). :D

I'm pulling for Deportivo. But you have to love a year when 3 of the 4 semi finalists are not big clubs. Yes, Deportivo has done well in Spain recently. But I wouldn't call them a big club in terms of spending nor history of success.

Especially when considering that Depor got rid of their top scorere when they sold Makaay over the summer...Pandiani stepped up nicely.
