IMHO, they need to remember this match. Go back onto the training pitch & fix what is broken. Or better yet, plug those holes in the D

Been avoiding all football related news and sites for days after what must have been one of the lowest points of my life.

    Hope we can win this.

Will have to miss this one.

Just win, and hope the defense is patched up.

[LINEUP-4-3-3]Kalou, Torres, Sturridge, Lampard, Mikel, Ramires, Cole, Terry, Luiz, Ivanovic, Cech[/LINEUP-4-3-3]

Rest Mata for this match while giving Kalou a chance to get his confindence up and get in form since we are playing Genk and not valencia or Bayern. Get Drogba minutes later in the game.

Torres and Sturridge need a game to get back into scoring form and get their touch back. Again Genk is a chance to boost confindence.

Lampard, Mikel, and Ramires is our strongest midfield combo IMO bringing Meireles and Oriol off the bench

Defense. Move Ivanovic out right. I personally love him in this position and move Luiz inside to pair with Terry. Anything to keep Bosingwa off the feild. Possibility of putting Luiz out right also? and keeping Ivanovic and Terry tandem together.

Also make sure Terry is fitted with extra long studs for this game:rolleyes:

I don't think Drogba is travelling for this match. Getting screws removed from his arm. Sturridge might need some rest after swinging so wildy during the Arsenal match. Seems like a perfect Kalou match.

Kalou and Sturridge wide? I wouldn't want my car in that parking lot.

Think oriol will start due to Mikel having a slight back injury from the arsenal match.

I wouldn't mind that. He owned Genk last time out, though I am sure they will make adjustments. Would love to see Josh as well.

I think this game has come at the perfect time for chelsea to forgot about the weekend but I wouldn't discount both teams to score, probably lampard to score a cheeky one to win the match

Is it even possible for Kalou to get in form? ;)

Please just win. If Torres gets a few more against Genk and our defense keeps a clean sheet, that's as much as I can ask for out of this match.

How on Earth does Anelka earn a starting spot above Sturridge?
