I'd definitely recommend this service to any Champions League addicts out there. They have great 10 minute highlight programs for each game that go up the same evening -- its's a great way to keep on top of everything that's going on, especially given our limited coverage of the CL here in the US. The interview programs are interesting as well.

I think they have live audio feeds of at least some games, but I'm never home during the day, and my office network won't allow streaming audio, so I've never looked at it very closely. They also put up delayed complete video broadcasts of all the games; it's cool, but of somewhat limited utility since there's no way to get to the games without seeing all the scores.

So am i able to watch a big portion of the UEFA Champions League with this package???.... does it work similar to the way Yahoo! Platinum used to do with the MLS Games???.... if it does then i will get it and say screw ESPN Deportes, this looks really awesome!

PS: Some inside info on wich of the two packages is better Will be ver very much appreciated.

There is no difference. It's just a choice of paying $35 a year or $5 a month. Both options give you the same package of audio, video, etc.

Within five hours of the end of Champions League matches you can watch each and every match all of the way through just like Yahoo Platinum. But unlike Yahoo Platinum you get ALL of the matches, not just some of them.

To be honest I don't know why more people don't subscribe to this since the matches take place during the day when 80% of us are at work or school and can't see them anyway. We're not going to be home to watch it live. And, since all but one match on Deportes is live, you have to watch/record them at ESPN's conveinance. With UEFA Action Pass you can watch a match and if you don't like it switch to another. The matches are there all season so you never miss a match.

And the $4.95 month/$39.95 year price is a price REDUCTION. They've been charging it in Euro dollars which was making it more than $6 per month. Now that you can buying in American dollars it is a real good deal.

Is the audio commentary from Britain?

I believe the entire Action Pass subscription comes from London. In the past you could hear the other commentators yell out when a goal was scored during another match indictating they were doing the commentaries from a studio in front of television monitors and not even in sound-proof rooms. Most of the people doing the commentaries work for the BBC, TalkSport, Capital Gold, etc. so I doubt if they all get on a plane to Switzerland. I would have to assume that the matches that aren't in English also originate from the same place as well.
