Anybody know if the Champions League final on May 28 will be broadcast in HD (high definition) anywhere in the world?

I think the answer is no, but Japan is a possibility.

Anyone have any idea??? Any Japanese readers out there who know if NHK will broadcast it there on HDTV ?

    Thanks.

No HD in Europe so someone would have to send a entire HD crew since there is no reason for UEFA to use HD camera's.

It will be in Widescreen 16:9 as it is in England but no HDTV.

Regarding England's widescreen broadcast, is it a digital (versus analog) broadcast? A digital broadcast, while not HDTV, would surely be of a higher quality.

I am also wondering whether there are any locations in the U.S. that could pick up the English feed, instead of the ESPN feed. It would be better to watch the English feed, I think.

    Thanks.
