Interesting -- second consecutive year Barca will have played a Polish team at this stage (assuming Legia goes through). Last year against Wisla Krakow I recall both games being pretty close. I think Barca will pull it out.
Wow, I have no idea how this happened. The post must have been trapped in some BigSoccer wormhole. I swear I posted that in the Messi thread. Strange...
So anyway, looks like we'll be playing Legia next. Lineup predictions? Valdés, Puyol and Xavi should start as always. Up front I'd like to see Saviola, Kluivert and Mendieta start with Geovanni on the bench. No matter the result, I still think Van Gaal needs to go. Bring in that cool cat coaching in Portugal, Morinyo. I think he's at União Leiria. He was Robson's assistant and I'll never forget when he said Barca would always be in his heart. We need someone who's committed like that. Btw, that young kid in Juvenil B is said to be quite a prospect. Tearing up the ranks like nothing, supposedly. haha, yeah right. As if he'll win four straight Balon d'Ors or something. Hear that crap all the time with these new kids. Dude's name is Mesy or Messy (?), from Argentina. Been at La Masia about 2-3 years now. I'm calling it now: Biggest flop ever. Amount to nothing. I say send him to LPB now while the hype is growing. Oh wait, they only buy Galacticos huh? Damn. Wtf is my avatar all about?
I googled the OP and got this: Without looking it up, is this the CL campaign where Barca had a dominating near perfect record in the group stages and then lost to like Valencia in the quarters? OK, I have to look it up... yup, in 12 group stage games they won 11 and lost 1. Then they lost to Juventus in the next round. More importantly they destroyed Warsaw 4 - 0 in the earlier qualifying round so take that, BrianCappellieri!!
