Chicago are travelling to face Saprissa in San Jose, Costa Rica tonight. I was wondering what the Fire fans, and MLS fans in general seeing as they are our only representatives now, out there think there chances are after squeaking by San Juan Jabloteh...

I'm not trying to talk smack about Chicago, but I was absolutely unimpressed w/ them last Saturday vs. the Smurfs. You never know what could happen, but they've got to up their game in order to get by Saprissa.

    Go MLS! :)

That's true, and in their last away leg, they didn't fare so well against a sub par opponent.

Their MLS form hasn't been good, and Costa Rican teams have proved very hard to beat in this competition in the away leg. I wouldn't be betting on anything great from the Fire tonight. That said, I hope they upset my expectations and do well, because it can only reflect well on MLS to succeed in international competition.

Saprissa will use a B team tonight... (read more on the Fire board)

Translation: No excuses for Chicago (in case of a whooping)

It was a A/B mix. A decent game overall; with a few exceptions. For more information, check out the Fire boards.
