Omsberg cannot play fullback. Navarro cannot play centerback. Not sure about Slonina's ability at fullback, but by all accounts he's a centerback.

Why is Chris Brady not the goalkeeper?

Why not? The Fire are only allowed to have one goalkeeper on the field. I had to make a choice.
Of course my preference would have been another Slonina, but for that stupid MLS "One Slonina at a time" rule. Sheesh, MLS rules is oppressive.

(By the way, I doubt any of them can play, except Calvo and, maybe, Azira)

If only we were LA or Seattle or Atlanta, one on the "darling" clubs, that rule would be gone in half a second.

    are out

Toronto v. D.C. United is postponed, due to positive tests.

Fire moved to another group before playing a game.

It may be just me, but I am beginning to think that having a vanity tournament in July in the middle of a pandemic in Florida one of the hottest most humid states and a state suffering a massive surge in cases due to the poor planning by the state and their idiotic governor may NOT have been a very good idea.

Like Nery Castillo, a good idea that isn’t panning out well. It is, unfortunately, a reflection of greater society right now.

I don't think it was a good idea. Putting it in Florida in summer was daft from outset.

Logistically there are very few options though. Florida may be the only one.

That is not really true. It is more "convenient" (at least for ESPN) for it be held there.

Considering there are no fans, limited staff, and all games are televised, they could have put it anywhere.

Any good sized college with dorms and two or three good fields would work (as there would be many others for training).

Most universities are pretty much empty this summer and could use the revenue more than ESPN and Disney.
Of course, the "mouse" will not be denied.

Put this in Wyoming or New Hampshire or some other place with few people, few distractions, rural and is not a hot bed for COVID-19.

I think this is probably misguided. I don’t know how many fields they have but I would be surprised if it weren’t close to 20. They also need medical facilities for 26, oops, I mean 24 teams, catering, etc. It’s probably a very big operation.

What about that new US training center in KC? I wonder how many players that is built to house?

A quick search shows 5. I’m not sure if that includes the artificial ones though.

Aliseda on the bench, he has really not looked good at all in training. They saw flashes in the limited training prior to the shutdown, but he really isn't performing at all.

Every one of you f*ckers got it wrong:
    Beric Sapong
    Herber Gimenez Medran
    Bornstein Frankowski
    Calvo Pineda Sekulic
    Kronholm

    Take that, everybody!

Not a single Slonina to be found (I eff'd that one up).
    Less than 4 Calen Carrs!

According to the ESPN Complex website, there are 17 fields, but most look pretty dire.

But Wicky is going to sub them out at the half for the 10 Kovalenko's. It's been demonstrated in this tournament that a 10 man side is an advantage and that's Wicky's super-sneak strategy to win.

MLS probably doesn’t need that many hut coordinating all the practices and shit just gets more difficult the fewer fields there are. Anyway, I thought it should be backburnered but understand it’s not the end of the world that it’s going forward.

He didn’t travel. I haven’t heard what injury, but he didn’t go to Florida.

Can any name the Starting 11 for the 2020 Chicago Fire, from the last game?
    Nope, I can't.
