Anybody been keeping a closer eye on Sion?

Do we have to deal with the whole Olympique des Alpes scenario again should Sion get promoted?

(or has Constantin come to his senses?)

Big blow for Lausanne. Alexandre Comisetti will be out for 6-8 months...

That would be the most beautiful arena in Switzerland if you ask me. They should find a place in Sion to build it though. I think their fans deserve an a arena like this but is Constantin the man to do it?

Looks rather big, I wonder if this is the 60,000 arena Constantin had in mind at one point...

A move to Martigny would most likely spark a wimbledon-esque reaction with the fans.

I agree. I have always wondered where he thought the 60k fans would come from.

The discussed fusion of Xamax and Yverdon would have a larger population from which to draw. Thankfully that idea is dead as well.

Yeah, I mean Sion is a small town (30k?)
A stadium of 20-25k would suit them

I think the Sion fans deserve it

    Mies, SWITZERLAND!
The stadium will be in Martigny and should accomodate around 26,000 fans. Which is the right number. The stadium has to be built in Martigny, it can NOT be build in Sion because they don't have the space and the city doesnt like Constantin so they are NOT helping him.

The only way such a beautiful stadium will be built in Valais is with a guy like Constantin!

AC Lugano vs. FC Sion 0:3
    La Chaux-de-Fonds vs. Lausanne 1:0

Sion claims the playoff spot and Lausanne must be kicking themselves about the draw against Wil...
