They have actually played better on the road than at home. The Baulmes - LS match should be very interesting. It will be interesting to see if Vaduz can come back from the huge WCQ win against Luxembourg.

This weekend will see some interesting action: 29 September 19:30 Baden - YF Juventus Zurich October 1 17:30 Lausanne Sports - Kriens 17:30 Winterthur - Wil 19:30 Locarno - Chiasso 19:30 Lucerne - La Chaux-de-Fonds 19:30 Meyrin - Concordia 19:30 Sion - Wohlen October 2 16:00 Lugano - Bellinzona 16:00 Vaduz - Baulmes For sheer importance of the matches, the Vaduz - Baulmes, the LS - Kriens and the Sion - Wohlen matches are very important. There are two Tessin derbys this weekend also; Lugano - Bellinzona and Locarno - Chiasso. Both should be interesting. Can Meyrin make it two in a row after their first victory last week?

Luzerne is starting to look like they might be a contender for promotion. After a great weekend last week, the Romand teams did not do so well at Baulmes is destroyed at a very motivated Vaduz team. La Chaux was crushed at Luzerne. Meyrin did manage a home draw against Concordia and Sion and LS both won 2-0. The Tessin derbys ended with a Chiasso away victory and a Lugano home victory.
Surprised that the Locarno-Chiasso derby drew more attendance than the other Ticino-affair..However, I think those games should have much higher attendances than 1,000+..But I know the Ticinians prefer the Serie A and the Milano-teams Luckily we got Sion!
There are some highlights for the CL matchs here: tsr.ch click on Sport then Samedi Sport There are the following matches: LS - Kriens Sion - Wohlen Chapuisat scored two nice goals, but also missed an easy one. This match was played in a downpour. The Second goal is a perfict example of how a cross should be put away, low and in the corner.

FC Meyrin is in some financial troubles. There is a question if my beloved team can finish out the season in the CL.
It is sad, indeeed. What about the motivation of the players for the remaing game of this season? Is Meyrin concentrated/prepared enough to collect some more points in the forthcoming games? (excluded Sion as they are really strong, aren't they?)
Meyrin is a decent squad. They had some good results in the fall, and some bad ones, but they were rarely blown out in a match. The big blow to them was the loss to Servette in the Swisscom Cup. This was Meyrin's chance to show that they were the CL team and that Servette was the 1st League team. They lost it. I hope that they can finish the season, and gain enough points to avoid relegation, but I do not want them to drop all the way down to the 3rd Division. That would not be fun at all. They have a new stadium on the way. I hope that Meyrin can become another alternative to Servette, sort of like Carouge. If they could get the people of Meyrin to come, there are tons there, a lot of the problems would be eliminated.
I see your point mate. Well, you are right that Meyrin deserve at least CL place, especially having new stadium and dedicated supporters, after all. What about the forthcoming game with Sion? I saw that last week against Winterthur you were without few players (Miéville,Di Stefano,D.Greco,Suchet,Towa,Koum) will they be available tommorrow? cheers.
Good question. I wish I had an answer for you. I would love a positive result from this match, but I am not too optomistic.
