I hope McCullers got him to sign that contract, or his price just went up.

I would bet it was not completed. There is no hurry on Chad's part to sign and allows him to entertain possible Euro offers if he chooses. The MLS will want to tie him down to a long term contract which is not very attaractive to a young player.

I would have gotten away with the ball and had a goal too, if it hadn't been for those massive crew kids and their awesome Chad Marshall.

    Justice is served.

Gotta admit, I don't think any of us saw this coming back in April, when we just hoped he was over the concussion issue. Too, say what you will about MLS, but the league's produced some damned good defenders.

Well deserved. Congrats to Chad he played like an animal all season. It was also nice to see him score some goals with that big melon of his. Unless he's pining for the EPL this might very well put him on the path to Europe.

Alright Chad and good for the league to understand what he has done this year. Now if he can grab the Comeback Player of the Year, Guille grabs MVP, and Sigi grabs Coach of the Year that would be a pretty good haul of persoanl awards. And well deserved by each of the gentlemen.

    Absolutely! Well done Chad.

Once a national coach with a clue gets in, he will be seen regularly on the international stage and demonstrate what MASSIVE really means.

In January of 2004, promising 24-year-old Carlos Bocanegra was bought buy Fulham after running away with the MLS Defender of the Year award the previous year.

In January of 2009, promising 24-year-old Chad Marshall...........................after running away with the MLS Defnder of the Year award the previous year.
