Pretty even around the half hour mark. The Chelsea reserves haven't been able to break us down by the sound of it.
One minute of stoppage time before half. Chelsea free kick - Balletti cracks it and Heaton saves it well. Palms around the ball. Halftime
Goal confirmation 20:54 Goal - Chelsea 1 (Salomon Kalou 52) QPR 0 And a reminder of our sub options Subs: Cerny, Ramage, Mahon, Agyemang, Pellicori, Ephraim, Taarabt
First corner of the match for the Rs Headed out, Hilario scrambles and can't get it, has to be cleared by a defender. Little better for the Rs. But Chelsea are looking quick in the counter attack
Simpson shoots -- err cross -- Routledge nearly reaches it at the far post. We're not out of this yet. COME ON RANGERS!
Gorkss nearly gets to a header! Cleared away. Still one-nil down - we sound sharp but need to watch the counter
We're getting some possession, but haven't been able to create any clear cut chances. Under 10 to play
Full time Not terrible, but a bit of sharpness in the attack could have stolen this match. Oh well, let's keep up the positive results in the league.
Sounds like a pretty decent outing for the R's. Let's take three points from Barnsley on Saturday and Newcastle on Wednesday.
I am relatively new to watching QPR so I am trying to learn as fast as I can but I will say that I knew that they would be definitely enjoyable to learn about when I read about the extreme hatred towards Chelski! Expand my knowledge!
Welcome to the party! Keep reading and we'll try to up the post count and give you a good picture of life as an Rs fan.
Fellow Hoops. With all this dosh we are supposed to have, it's got to be big players buying time? What players within reason, would you like to buy?
Thanks, I am very curious to know about the atmosphere at the stadium along with which players we can definitely not spare to lose to injury. Just glad to receive a open welcome as I know how noobs are often made to feel like.
I'm hoping that the good form continues till January and that inspires the directors to go shopping. Maybe for an out and out striker who's not getting games in the Premier League? Though looking on the continent will be cheaper.
AZZTATOO Your welcome mate. QPR has always been a very warm and friendly club. It's not a place known for trouble and a good stadium to take family.... It's a club for REAL football fans. It's a small, intimate, compact stadium and easy to fall in love with, not a huge, cold, violent place. We also only have a few real legends (Mine being Rodney Marsh) and have won one trophy - the league cup in '67. Although we got to the cup final in '82 where my relative was the captain. MY next mision is to buy a Tampa Bay Rowdie Jersey, following the Rodney theme. You will end up finding a favourite player no doubt.
