It'll be easier for those to see that games on TV. 83 of the 90 regualr season games will be broadcast on TV. The CBC will start on June 21st, which is early for them. No note as of yet on US broadcasts.

Canada Day matches. Calgary 32 Ottawa 12 Kevin Feterik, the son of the Stamps owner, started at QB and got 283 all purpose yards and caught one pass for a TD. The Stamps also lost Lawrence Phillips for 6-12 weeks with a broken hand. Winnipeg 14 Edmonton 12 Milt Stegall caught anotehr pass for a TD for the Bombers. Higgins wasn't using his brain again today. He had the ball on the Winnipeg's 24 yard line but went for a gamble instead of kicking it.
Montreal 32 Saskatchwan 31 Anthony Calvillo hits Germaine Copeland for three strait TD's to lead Montreal to a come from behind victory. The Roughriders had a shot to win with a last minute Field Goal. The kick sailed wide. British Columbia 30 Toronto 27 The Lions blow a 20-3 lead againsts the Argos. Curtis Head hits a 33 yard FG in the "Overtime Shootout" to give the Lions the win.

Tonight's matches Ottawa 34 Toronto 32 New Renegades QB Kerry Joseph impressed in his debut as he threw for 1 TD and ran for 2 more. Joesph had just under 340 total yards for the game. Damon Allen threw for a late Argos TD but just couldn't get into FG range on their last drive. Winnipeg 29 Saskatchewan 27 Troy Westwood wins it for the Bombers with a last-second 55yrd FG. He had some yardage to spare from that kick as well. It's been reported that Hamilton and Toronto will be undergoing some financial restructuring. The current ownership of the Hamilton Ti-Cats will stay in place. A local group of owners will attempt to buy majority control of the Argos from owner Sherwood Schwartz. Also with the Ti-Cats, QB Reggie Slack quit the teams and went into retirement. The Cats will have to start with 2 injured QB's against the Calgary Stampeders. BC 28 Montreal 27 BC had a field goal fall short in the dying seconds of the game. They got saved when an Als defender got called for roughing the kicker. BC kicker Curtis Head did miss the seond time and helped the Lions win their 2nd consecutive.
Toronto 24 Winnipeg 14 Despite having serious injury problems, the Argos won thanks to 6 Bomber turnovers. Backup QB Marcus Brady hit WR Lal Knight for 2 TD passes to win for the Argos.
Good result for the Argos, but what's with this schedule? Not so much with the time between games for them. But rather, why so many mid-week games? That can't be helping attendence.
