Remember when I said that there were other people working behind the scenes on actions regarding the club? This is the start of that. I'm going to let them speak for themselves when the time comes because I don't want to misrepresent their goals, but it's yet another example of grassroots organizing around issues important to the club.

I think by then we were up in the Solider Field club section. That place was fun and had a great view. It was like the Sky Deck but with good soccer and more players showing up.
Apparently they were surprisingly cheap. They cost a lot for Bears games, but for us it didn't really cost to much more than middle-of-the-road seats.
I did most of my heavy drinking, partying around the Soldier Field days. Great memories. The team won, the community was big and happy. I miss those times dearly.
A short update: Before the end of the season, likely before mid-October, there will be a public forum to present the vision for the Trust, and hold a referendum for its establishment. It's important we unite as much of the Fire community as possible: including the ISA, current and formerly active fans from throughout the stadium, playing and staff alumni, and others. There's an education and discussion process in the lead up to the vote, and while a lot of it is already happening behind the scenes it will need to become more public. It's important to acknowledge that our discussions so far have approached the formation of a Trust to protect the club's principles and legacy as an event that was destined from the beginning, and not directly tied to the Fire's current situation. This is "the long game", and we ask your patience as we arrange all the specifics.
