My favourite was when Hleb left the show to go to hollywood but ended up a bum living under spaghetti junction
And your eyes are right. Case in point, I watched (painfully) yesterday the Barca-Arsenal game at the Camp Nou. One may argue that Cesc cost us that game. ( Not to mention Bentdner....His bad miss, with 3 minutes to go, should have him banned forever near An Arsenal shirt).
I wish Bendtner would have missed it He didnt even get a shot off Mascherano made a great play tbf, buy it was helped by Bendtner's bad touch.
I think I turned on Bendtner the moment he blocked Cesc's shot from going in in the Champions League against Liverpool in '08. And we know how that two-legged tie worked out. Bleh.
Mascherano would not have ben in the picture if it wasn't for Bendtner awful touch. Any decent forward would have scored or at least forced Mascherano to give a penalty.
This. We we were already playing 11 v 12 in that series and he made it 10 v 13. Add Senderos' ineptness and it was more like 9 v 14.
remember how much we all hated him when he and Adebayor fought? then a year later we found out that Adebayor was just a d-ckhead then two years after that we found out they were both d-ckheads. hm..
http://www.espn.co.uk/football/sport/story/111417.html?CMP=OTC-RSS Fabregas told Sport magazine: "I needed a change in my life, that's the truth. We weren't winning any titles and it was very frustrating for me. I didn't feel like I was developing anymore as I should do. "I want to be in a club that is able to win the big titles year after year and I don't see that kind of future for Arsenal. I still have many feelings for Arsenal but I fear that they won't be able to push the other big clubs in England away. If you look at the team this season I can't see them finishing in front of teams like Manchester United or City. Or Chelsea. There's just too big a difference between the squads." Totally unnecessary from Cesc. He seems to forget that he was the best player and the captain of this team and he never led them to a any title. It is easy to blame the Club but he should also look at himself and realize he failed the club as well. Great players and great leaders help their them and carry it to titles and glory.
True. However, Cesc is giving them materials to write and comment about. I guess that is part of the Barca DNA.....
I agree with this. He and Nasri love to say they left because of ambition but in crucial games last year they were no where to be found. Last year that team was good enough and they blew it. Maybe I'm reaching but maybe they really didn't believe they could do it and it affected their form after February. If that's the case then I'm not mad they're gone. He's telling the truth about this squad, it isn't good enough to finish above the others. The Manchester clubs are a bit like Barca and Real.
Its unnecessary of him to say that, but can't disagree with him. The fact is had we purchased a few more players a couple of years back, we would have probably one a trophy or two and avoided the embarrassment. Sadly since the January and especially the Carling Cup loss we looked like a team that lost its belief. This team still needs to new quality injection to motivate the players and also instill some belief that we too can win titles. We don't have to spend city money, but we could actually invest in the team and bring in another couple of star players in January.
How can he and that cnut Nasri talk shit when they bottled our big games and cesc as a captain won us nothing. What a dwarf scrote, can't wait for his hamstring to go again the little twat
Too bad we couldn't buy heart, guts, luck (strictly Carling Cup final) or balls. That's what that team lacked most. Maybe a little more depth for the bench but that team bitched up when it mattered most. This team lacked stars and big money buys but they played very well as a unit. I didn't hear the excuses when we beat Barca or Chelsea, made it to the Carling Cup final or when we were 2nd in England. This team fell apart in March. January and February they looked the squad Wenger had imagined.
