Who will be trying out for the center mid position? I guess it also depends on whether the formation will be 3-5-2 or 4-4-2.

A lot of the talk has been a 4-4-2 with Beasley playing a bit more centrally. Depending on how much Perez will overlap from the defense, that may not be all that different from a 3-5-2 in practice. In any event, DMB probably needs to play *less* defense than last year.

I'd say our only real options are Beaz or Kelly Gray. Mapp's probably too inexperienced to step into that major of a role. Gray probably is, too, actually.

What is the deal with young Capano? He is suppose to be a creative central midfielder type right? I know he is young, but I have heard a lot about his potential etc. I am just wondering where he will stand on the team this year and the years to come. Is he being groomed for this position two or three years down the road?

If Peter comes back, we won't have to worry about that this year, but we'll still have answer this question next season (or this year if Nowak gets hurt).

Ok, so we don't get Peter back. The dilemma remains.
