I think Refs in Mexico over react all the time, even though Vela had a yellow card already he would have been sent sent off anyway, the ref pulled the red card immediately. Vela didn't even touch the guy but pinche mariposa rolled around about four times before coming to a stop. WTF? Refs in Mexico need to watch more EPL games.
What I read was Cruz Azul had claimed to have received a special permit so they could play this weekend. But FMF/liga mx came out and said they had not given out any special permits.
That second goal was very good. I still see too many defensive mistakes being made. And I mean very elementary mistakes, like loosing marks and letting a guy stand 8 feet away from goal completely unmarked.

I like them both but if I had to choose one of the two, I'd go with Pereira. I know it's now exactly fair but I can't get over Araujo's stupid hand-ball against Pumas in that Liguilla game that got us knocked out. We've actually had a good crop of young defenders the last few years, hopefully they'll get the minutes they need to improve.

Shit ref I missed a few minutes of the second half but overall I think Aquino was missed. Bertolo didn't do anything special and got trolled by the ref. Hope Chuleta recovers quick and keeps getting minutes. I liked what i've seen from him this season.
