I'm not watching the game but on Trent: we knew what we were getting with this guy defensively, in fact he's actually done better than anticipated. The issue is that our CBs are garbage and that just fvcks everything up.

 

The issue is he's poor defensively no point blaming everyone else for his mistakes off the ball, we knew what we were getting and hoped his on the ball contributions would outweigh what he lacks in defense so far i'd say it's 50/50 which isn't great

Better than expected? Guy has been injured for the most part and had one good game where he was still a defensive liability. I don't care how good you are at passing, if you're a defender, you have to at least get the basics right.

 

In the few games he's played, he's done better than many expected. Bro, he was a literal traffic cone at Liverpool
