Start Thiago Patriarch again please, he was a bright spot offensively in a dim midfield.

Looking forward to the game, we suck right now but still.

We’ve always had injuries, but I can’t recall a time where 10 players were out. It’s a viable starting lineup of unavailable players.

Backs against the wall, hopefully that’s the time we show something

6 of those injured would have started if fit. What happened to Camavinga?

Meh. I don't see us winning or even drawing. Hope I'm wrong but better things to do on a Friday night.

    Pitarch getting another start.

Mendy replacing the suspended Carreras and seemingly ahead of Fran in the pecking order.

Brahim getting the start over Gonzalo

Fran isn't as bad as people say he is in my opinion. Just gets exposed when the entire team is shit.

Bench is nonexistent. Still, should be enough to beat Celta, if you have the ambition to win the league.

Other than Lunin, that's a 100% Castilla or former Castilla bench. Usually we celebrate stuff like that but this time its a sign of horrible times.

If Real Madrid drops points today, this title attempt (if you can call it that) is finished. I hope the players show some backbone and positive attitude. We will see whether they truly deserve that badge on their shirt.

It's because of the 10 injuries and our shit squad management. We also prioritize UCL over LaLiga.

Not sure I'm comfortable with a 4-4-2 instead of a 4-3-3 vs average LaLiga sides. It should be Junior-Gonzalo-Brahim upfront imo.

Is it? One thing that Barca has been forced to do is play some of their academy players. Who look every bit as hungry.

Given the rot of some of the attitude of our players, I’d rather lose with seeing how our youth plays than the same old slop.

AS was reporting Brahim starting over Gonzalo a day ago. Seems like there is a leak

Don't know man.... Should we expect anything right now? hoping to win....but our level is so low that every game is a 50/50 no matter the opposition. I don't go in expecting to win anymore.

Unfortunately I think this crisis has put a spotlight on the huge differences that there are between our academy and Barca's, which I would put lightyears ahead of us. Barca's academy trains their players from a young age to play in their style, and they have a long culture of integrating talent into the first team in the last 20 years. Our academy generally seems more focused on trying to make a profit and offsetting the costs of the first team to some extent as a primary goal, and as a secondary goal if we don't have enough cash to have an entire XI of galacticos, we throw in a couple of cantera players.

I wanted to see how our youth plays too but after a few weeks of this, I would be completely fine if Gonzalo, Fran, Asencio etc. did not play again for the team. The quality is just not there and we are better than this.

Agreed on those 3 you listed. There are some other potential players in that group; Tiago seems smooth, Valdepeñas, and Chema seem like they may be good?

Instead of forcing these washed up players like Alaba, Mendy and zeros like Fran, Gonzalo - give some other guys run.

    Tchouameni!!! In great form lately!

Great assist from Arda as well. Seems a trained corner kick routine
