I keep trying to access http://www.cdhuachipato.cl , which Chile's soccer fwederation lists as their official site, but it always comes up dead. Anybody follow this club? If so, anybody know if they have a website, but at a different URL?

Also, is there anywhere online that sells Chilean club jerseys?

Yeah, I kinda figured Huachipato weren't all that wonderful or well followed, but hey, this info is great! (I don't actually speak spanish, but being brought up in San Diego, I do understand it well enough to read it), especially the jersey link. Thanks.

I would suggest for you to change your team to Colo-Colo, they play great and you can buy anything anywhere :D

:D Oh, OK. And while I'm at it, ManU, Celtic, River Plate, and Ajax! lol

My reason for being curious about Huachipato is actually their seal. I'm not into our sport of NFL football, bit I was fascinated that Huachipato had in their seal the three-star logo that the Steelers have, and I wondered why. Upon further investigation, it turns out Huachipato is a steel industrial town.

I'm fascinated by footy history. You just don't have suburbs or small towns having teams named for them in the US, but you do in the rest of the world. . You don't have Foxboro Revolution, you have New England Revolution. Etc....

If anything, Colo are playing very crappy at the moment. I feel bad for Zamorano--looking to finish his career out on a good note. I would suggest that you support my hometown's team--Santiago Wanderers De Valparaiso, they haven't been plating too well lately, although since the start of the Opening Championship they've improved significantly, yet they lost yesterday to Acosta's C'loa.

Yeah, I've heard of S. Wanderers. By C'loa, you mean Cobreloa, right? I was looking at team seals the other night, and noticed that those of Cobreloa and Cobrecal looked very similar. There some sort of connection?

    Cobreloa and Cobresal
Cobreloa is from Calama, and Cobresal is from chuqui, a lot more deeper into the dessert. I think their whole stadium can fit like the whole town in. Zamorano started his career at Cobresal.
