Our heroes emerged victorious in the first encounter in the start of season champions tournament! The foreign foe proved no match for our Crew of yellow wearing heroes, as they were swept aside. However, an early season twist struck them, as fan favorite Morris, a young but talented newcomer, was hit with a long term injury. Now in the quarter finals, our lovable band must do battle with a very wealthy foe from the south, one of the favorites to win the whole tournament and establish continental supremacy. Will the underdog Crew be able to overcome such a test, or will E.V.I.L. get the last laugh?
Did they play their starters vrs Chivas ? Very interesting as to both teams line ups. I say start our best healthy players and go for the win . Need a shutout win it will be very hard to win the away leg in Mexico
It's hard to pinpoint regular offensive starters since they're deep can rotate without missing a beat, generally. Funes Mori is their stud and all time leading goal scorer (121 goals). Outside of him they can rotate in Hurtado, Janssen, Pabon, Meza, Sanchez, and Loba with ease. They've got a great young Mexican CB in Cesar Montes. They've struggled a little bit this year but are still sitting top 4 in Liga MX.
LOTS and LOTS of tickets still available for this one.....And tickets are more expensive than League matches.
Regarding ticket prices, I'm guessing that the FO thought that the scarcity of tickets would allow them to charge more.
For sure. Probably not as popular as America but considering Liga MX is the most watched soccer in the United States, there will be plenty of fans out there wanting tickets.
Another advantage of having adult children: My son just bought tickets to this match for both of us. That kind of thing almost never happened when he was seven.
Btw, got tix!! Super pumped, might be our last game at the old stadium. They doing food trucks this year? We always get Pitabilities when they are there.
The MLS site lists the actual kickoff for every game. Ours is 8:36pm. https://www.mlssoccer.com/competitions/concacaf-champions-league/2021/matches/clbvsmnt-04-28-2021/
