56,783 yesterday at the Azteca. 59 020 next week at the Olympic stadium.

 

Is this right? CA had a higher attendance for the semis than the final? What about the rumored sellout before the game? In my view CONCACAF should copy the AFC and hold the final series on the weekend.

Big O is sold out - over 59,000 and reports they are adding temporary seating. So more for final than the 33K for the semi-final. The quarter-final was about 38K, but they had months to sell those, and they were also in the season ticket package, unlike the Semi and Finals which they had to sell quickly.

 

Impact added 2,000 tickets, sold them in 15 minutes. Capacity now quoted as 61,004.

Didn´t look like much, but even a decent crowd looks small at azteca. especially now with the remodeling that is being done.

 

I searched four places: Wikipedia, Seattle's website, CONCACAF, and www.soccerway.com and none of them had the attendance.

 

yeah since concacaf changed their site, its hard to get the numbers.

The Mexico-Canada game had one camera feed from the other side. Good solution for TV!

 

That happens sometimes in South America, for example the last Brazil-Uruguay. This allows to put sponsors from both countries on the side banners.
