I'm not certain, there are some names from the past like Lynn and Barry, but I don't know how good any of them are. Thier schedule is weak, at least in part, due to their league. This is probably true for a lot of D II teams.

BTW, that was their second match in as many days. I'm not certain why they took this on given the scheduling. NKU is no patsy and they ( NKU )played with a day's rest. But it's a long season and it will all shake itself out.

    Latest info

Here is the latest from the CBU website...

They beat the University of Montevallo 4-0, as Missy Gregg gets a hat-trick (the link to the article on the game doesn't work right now). She was also named GSC player of the week.

    Re: North Alabama game

I suppose if you want to be mathematical about this, the number of goals scored is inversely proportional to the the opponent's power rating. Theoretically, in a game against 11 highway cones (power rating "0"), her goalscoring production should approach infinity.

    Alabama-Huntsville game

The Lady Bucs continued it's "killer roadtrip" of conference foes by defeating the Lady Chargers 2-0 on a pair of second half goals by Gregg and Saurin. Huntsville's record falls to 8-7-0. It had been listed 126th by A-J, rated at 849.

The second half of this "killer roadtrip" is 139th ranked Lincoln Memorial, with a 732 rating. CBU's SID gets A+ for enthusiam, but D- for common sense.

    The saga continues...
10-1 hammering of 162nd rated Ouachita Baptist with Gregg and Saurin both registering hat tricks and CBU posting 41 shots.

    Central Arkansas game 10-26

CBU continues to 'pile on' their weak sisters, this time leaving in Missy Gregg long enough to score 4 and hitting the posts several other times in an 8-0 rout. Her partner in crime Margaret Saurin got a goal and 3 assists.

I keep wondering why their coach doesn't pull these two earlier in the game - going for records could backfire if either of them suffers an injury when they should have been sitting on the bench watching their understudies get valuable experience.

Pretty much the same as last season as I recall.
