Thanks, my DVR's guide says "to be announced" between 12:30p - 7:30p ET. And Google & Livesoccertv.com don't list CBS. But I would tend to believe you that it'll be on flagship CBS channel.
I use Titan TV for local/OTA listings. It's usually updated well before cable or streaming guides are.
I check American TV listings (for no useful reason) at OnTVTonight. It has only 7 days in advance, but I like the inferface.
I wouldn't be surprised if this was posted before, but if there's no other codes available, AARP members get 10% off. https://www.aarp.org/membership/benefits/entertainment/paramountplus/
That explains why when I call up for a discount I can easily get 10% off but nothing more. So for a straight up P+ sub/renewal (WITHOUT bundling) I wonder if anyone is able to get more than 10%.
The cost of Paramount+ is going up. The version without Showtime is going up $2/mo. With Showtime is going up $1/mo. The price increase takes effect on Aug. 20 for new customers for both plans. Existing Paramount+ with Showtime customers will see the price increase hit on or after Sept. 20. Existing Paramount+ Essential customers — who don’t receive Showtime content — won’t pay more for their plans. https://www.cnbc.com/2024/06/24/paramount-to-increase-prices-for-its-streaming-plans.html
Walmart+ has Paramount+ free as a benefit and just added 6 months of Showtime for free as well. For anyone looking to find a way around the price increase (I had the annual deal through September 7 but switched now to lock in 4 more months of Showtime free) that is one way around it.
I just saw this. Because Google (or someone) changed their ways, it's now "read the article upon downloading the app" and eff that. GET SIX MONTHS FREE: Walmart has announced its Walmart+ Week mystery offer. Walmart+ members get six months of Paramount+ with Showtime free with this limited time offer. $98 ($8 and change per month) for a year. And if you're feeling rich, apparently Walmart in Canada is the only place to still get 90s drink Fruitopia. It'll cost ya, however. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Fruitopi...-Imported-from-Canada/2411091734?from=/search Apparently we just missed the "get a year of Walmart+ for $49" offer.
If it's for the Showtime version every year, it's probably worth waiting for. Do I need Showtime? No. Do I loathe commercials I can't skip? Absolutely. Would I ever order anything from WalMart? Probably not.
I've started ordering Blu-Rays/DVDs from Walmart along with toiletries, etc. and it's well worth it. Got the Capital One Walmart card so I get 5% cash back for online orders and 2% in store. Also tons of little things like $.10 off gas at a bunch of gas stations, ad-free content on Pluto TV, free returns from home, etc. A good enough deal that I dropped both Amazon Prime and Costco.
Champions League qualifiers start on Tuesday! Anyone know if they are available streaming anywhere? not showing up on Paramount
Paramount coverage officialy starts with the 4th qualifying round. All games before that are not included although some games will be picked up by various networks, including paramount.
I can't imagine the Lithuanian runner-up vs the Armenian winner (or whoever of similar stature) would garner much interest. With that said, I see Dynamo Kyiv is playing real soon and I seem to remember them being in the group stage.
Still no word that I can find confirming Serie A on Paramount+ going forward. I'm wondering if all the sale stuff was holding up negotiations and if it will continue to do so into the coming season. Could they end up losing rights just because of the change in ownership happening now?
The merger deal has nothing to do with Serie A renewal. That all comes down to money as Serie A are not getting the amount they are hoping for. Same thing is happening with Ligue-1 (but actually worse as Ligue is dealing with domestic rights as well as int'l). It's a waiting game now with networks thinking the leagues will give in as the seasons start without a broadcaster while the leagues think networks will blink first... SA
Serie A has a long history of doing late bad TV deals. In August 2018 they put all games for Hispanic America on Serie A Pass, a standalone streaming service. it was a major flop, and ESPN took over in November.
A new company taking over would definitely affect how much Paramount is able to pay for Serie A. Skydance could easily have put limits on what Paramount could bid to keep Serie A.
