Genoa should have made more of their chances, but Inter were phenomenal. The first goal was a thing of beauty. Inter should never have been given that penalty. Genoa showed a lot guts to claw the game back. Gilardino impressed me with how he setup his team, but I think he left his gamble of playing the extra attacker too late in the game. He should have gone for it sooner maybe. The referee, Ayroldi, was an embarrassment. This is the single worst penalty call I have ever seen since VAR started. The VAR team even told him to take a second look and the clown stuck to his decision. There was no contact until after Barella took his shot and the defender got a piece of the ball before making contact. Never a foul. Then later in the game he gave a yellow to Lautaro for diving. Granted, Lautaro was looking for it and purposely left his leg trailing, but at least he drew contact. Lautaro had more claims of being fouled than Barella had. It should never have been a yellow.
Last I checked, Zlatan isn't actually married. I know he shares kids with his gf of the past decade or so.
I can see Ranieri leading Cagliari to a great run next season, but they are not out of the woods yet this season. The relegation fight is really tough. There's 7 teams in the mix plus Salernitana who look relegated already.
Also Gianluca Gaetano got some Minutes and scored as well. Loaning him out was a good move for his development.

That was one of the worst finals I’ve ever seen in my life. With all due respect to Olympiacos, if they played in Serie A, they’d be in a relegation battle. And despite that, Fiorentina couldn’t beat them. I’ve held Italiano in high regard, but here we saw all his weaknesses. A season of useless tinkering with the lineup. Subs that make absolutely no sense. And just a general inability to translate possession into goals. The club also has to answer for the disgraceful mercato’s they did for this team. So many useless players on this side. This club has regressed in every sense. A divorce between Italiano and Fiorentina is justified. I have no idea who comes in and improves this squad
They needed a goal scorer. Imagine if they had Lookman or El Khaabi... those 2 alone made the difference in both finals.
