The main problem I see right off the bat would be recreating the flames, from a merchandising standpoint. Not sure how companies would handle that from a number of colors standpoint. Other than that, it looks good.
I like the 'shield' versions for the club, but really like Sabotage's concept for the Cauldron. Of course, both styles could be used in different circumstances. BTW - I would so buy a scarf with Sabotage's design on it.
I Like It But(and Lets See How Much Heat I Get For This But), Forst Thing I Thought Of When I Saw It Was The Chicago Fire.
Is it because there's "Fire" in the logo, and there is a team named the "Fire" in our league? I wouldn't worry about people getting confused which team we support. That's why it's blue. There's also no flame image any where in the Chicago Fire brand. The fact that the "flame" is attached to the "U" should make it clear to the viewer that they are attached, creating a pot or a "Cauldron" if you will. If it were somehow disconnected from the logo, there'd be issues. We could also put "Supporters of the Wizards since 1996" or whatever underneath it. Or my favorite, just, "Taste the Rainbow." Also, I would like to say that I like the shield designs as well, but there's no reason why we can't have two different looks for different things (i.e. t-shirts, scarves, etc).
LIKE I SAID I LIKE IT BUT YES IT WAS BECAUSE OF THE "FLAME"...AND I GOT THE "FLAME" IN THE "U" AS BEING A POT OR "CAULDRON"...JUST GIVING MY OPINION...AS A SCARF IDEA I THINK IT WOULD WORK BETTER!
No problem. I want people's serious opinions (my feelings won't be hurt). I just need to know specifically issues that people have with the design so I can adjust accordingly. Also, just so everyone understands where I'm coming from, here's what my life is like on a daily basis.
I like the flame, but the imagery might come through more obviously with a boiling liquid filling the U. When picturing it, I think I still like the flame more. You could also maybe consider adding small handles to both sides or one side of the U to achieve the same effect. I like it a lot though. What font is that?
I'll play around with it. The font is called "xscale." I get most of my free fonts off of dafont.com.
Lions... Dragons... why? Matthias' drawings are much better, especially d A little bit sheriff-y though. But I can't make anything better, so who am I to quibble?
i know the fountain logo on the city flag is stupid, but trying to fit a some kind of fountain might have some potential.
