Sounds good, I figured that we'd do subs like a normal league game anyways.

Chamo is right, the food is better at Pub And Grub, but on Friday nights the atmosphere there is more of a pickup joint than a relaxed watering hole. Its suburban divorcee hell. If you guys want to scope the local talent (i.e. soccer MILFs), than Pub and Grub is the place. If you want to just hang out as a group in a relaxed environment, then the Rover should be your option. Plus walking back to the Hampton Inn from the Rover is possible, the Pub and Grub is a bit further out.

Damn, the options. Chasing after soccer MILFs or having a nice close drunk walk. What shall we do??? :D

I vote Rovers. But this does make me laugh thinking of the "Got MILF Fan of the Game" promotion - complete with the "that's not milk" moustache.

Don't worry, you'll see plenty of MILFs at the Rover too, but they won't be as "slutted up" as they will at Pub & Grab.....typo intentional. Frisco is all suburb, no urb.

What time do you guys plan on getting there....I just might have to stop by and say "hello". I won't be able to make the kickaround on Saturday morning and I'm notoriously late for the tailgates, so it might be my only chance.

    texgator,

Is Rover's cool with bringing non-drinking minors in? A couple in our group are under 21.

Yeah, we've had kids in there before without an issue.

Yeah, I mean what kind of trouble could two teenage guys get into left alone at a hotel? :)

Is anyone staying for Sunday morning's Reserve game?

The Wizards still have a chance to take the Reserve title!

If only we could get admission, I'd be game for a morning of yelling. (Although I only have a six hour drive back as opposed to most people's nine. :D)

I've been to a few FCD reserve matches, they're pretty fun to go to, really laid back. A little heckling would not be out of place, as long as you didn't take it too far. You could probably have a chat with the guys that played saturday too.

I am game for the Reserves match on Sunday. I think those in my van would be up for it too.

As much as I'd love to see the Reserves match, I have an indoor game in KC to make it back for.

What time is your game that we have to back in time for?

Also, did you get my PM about time and location for departure on Friday?

The reserves match would be fun to watch, however, I still have about a 2 hour drive ahead of me once back in KC to get back to Manhappenin'.

9:20 p.m. in Lenexa. So we couldn't leave any later than about noon. If the reserves match is earlier in the morning, we could maybe go. I can check on the time.

    yes.

Reserve game is at 10am, so you can just squeeze it in and still leave by noon.

Random ops question for the road trip. Is the Drum going to be accompanying us for this trip?

That is an excellent question. I'll ask Sam and see what I can do about arranging it so that we can get it.
