Out of all the relegation level clubs, I think Catania is the best one of the lot.........they will do well come springtime..

They played very well today. They never gave up and their possession play was excellent. Catania's players weren't afraid to show off their skills and they had the right balance of style and substance. The Sicilians should be proud of their performance and they stuck it right up those rich northerners!

What a great win that was. Anyone know when the last time we beat Inter was?

I was watching it on ESPN but what they showed had come from ESPN UK's transmission. I think those English commentators were itching to throw in a reference to England's 1966 World Cup win somewhere. Maybe that's why the 1-0 result in February '66 stood out. Inter still managed to win the title and Catania still got relegated!

This team dives more than any other in the Serie A (maybe all the Argentines)... rotten display by them today against Milan. Van Bommel sent off? Spolli should have been sent off!

What a beatdown that was! I just love beating Palermo that made the year for me. Are you a Catania fan also?

I'm a general Italian soccer fan but I'm glad when clubs from the south do well....Catania seems to be the best of the bottom level clubs. I hope they won't get relegated.

    Montella is their new coach.

I didn't think that he was too bad at Roma but he will have a weaker roster to work with next season. I think he can still do a good job but it will be a long season.

I went to their 5-1 win against Milazzo on August 7. An easy win on home soil despite Milazzo taking the lead in the first half. Only 10 000 people turned up but what an atmosphere. I was also sitting close to one of the curves too.

Montella hasn't got a bad side. They have good skills but obviously they are sides with more talent. They should survive.

He disappeared after his stint at Sampdoria but from what I've seen, he is playing well for Catania. Catania have got some impressive results of late. Drawing to Juve and Fiorentina and beating Inter so far. I wonder how they will go against Milan.
