I didn't get a chance to watch the Mexico and T&T games on TV. How did the young defender Cat Reddick do in the back. The only thing I read said she had a 35 yd. blast against Mexico...i think she could possibly be a great attacking defender in the future.
I thought Reddick played well against T&T showing good attacking skills and a wicked long-range shot. Mind you, this was not a good game to judge as the defense was never troubled and Reddick had all the time in the world to make her runs. She is not as fast as Slaton by any means and I think when Slaton gets healthy she starts. I do think Reddick's fitness level is a slight issue but it is simply a matter of getting used to a 90 minute game. She looked somewhat tired at the end of both Mexico an T&T. BTW Wagner also looked very tired at the end of the Mexico game. My impression of Reddick is that she is very much in contention to make the WC roster and is versatile enough to play both on the wing and in the middle. mingyung
Cat Redick is the best left back the US has up to this point, she is reincarnation of Brandi Chastain or in other words she is the younger and fresh Brandi Chastain.
