Very rare indeed.

I have never seen any of DC United jerseys before 1998 with a star.

 

Just as an FYI, Stephen Zack has informed me that the jerseys are gone for good. No chance of bringing them back.

And the jersey is a size medium. Too small for me.

I love that jersey. I would buy that one, but it's only medium.

It's even better when it's long-sleeve (and very rare).

Then, in pictures of the stadium, you could be like "Where's Waldo."

 

We probably would all end up in a bidding war if it were a L/XL. I saw that myself. No way I could squueze into a M. though.

That is one of the worst jerseys to grace the pitch at RFK ever.

 

Let's not forget, though, that it was the luckest jersey in our history. We only lost once - the first game against Vasco, which was also the last time we wore it.

3rd Kits in General

I like unique 3rd kits, not ones that invlove the team colors. The bloody ribcage didn't look that different, I like the Cat in the Hat because it was so ugly/different.

I'd like a gray, maroon, or orange 3rd kit

 

Those were great jerseys. I wish there was a way we could get Adidas to bring them back.

I'm firmly in the camp that thinks that the "Cat in the Hat" jersey was one of the ugliest things DC United ever wore.

That thing was a monstrosity. It was almost as bad as the Kansas City jersey from '96-'98.
