This is a win/win, Jesse compliments Pablo and Chicago gets a proved striker (which they need). We give Beckerman playing time whereever possible and let him continue to gain experience at this level.

Actually, three different threads. Come on rapidfan, what's your problem with Carrieri?

Come to think of it, I smell sock puppet.

    My mistake

Sorry my mistake - I meant to add a comment to my original thread. I'm not negative on Carrieri however if we can trade him for an experienced center mid with great passing skills - we need to make the deal.

    Re: My mistake

Why? He's young and proven. Why not trade Chung or Henderson? Or Fraser? Or Spennie? Or anybody else for that matter? Why pick on Carrieri?

    Value

Chris has more value because of his age. Carrerri is certainly worth a proven Center Mid with great passing skills. And we really need one !

    Re: Re: Value

Exactly. And where are all these necessary center mids with great passing skills? I think Greenie posted a list of the current traditional #10s and there are four in the league and two are about ready to retire. Wow. The other 6 teams must suck. No wait, they don't except for the Rapids.

It says something when LA has Cienfuegos for all those years and can't win a title but when he goes to the bench they finally break through.

Yeah, a #10 is what the Rapids need. How about a coach with a clue and some leadership from the veterans? I'd take that over Pibe again.

    Center Mid

This is a game that's meant to be played with a #10, over the past four years it been great to see Valdorama and Anders Limpar feeding the wings and strikers.

why isn't he playing for chicago??? Is it because they are playing logan pause instead?? why do we need him if someone on his present team is beating him out???
