... according to MSNBC. Good riddance.

She's going to endorse Dean tomorrow -- not that it really matters since her poll numbers are 1-2%. And she still hasn't apologized for the whole Abacha incident.

Oh, now she drops out, after making sure that Sharpton finishes second in the DC primary.

Dean, though I would also be happy with Clark or Edwards as the nominee.

I sense Terry Macauliffe[sp?] grinning, having achieved what he set out to do by getting Amb. Carol to run.

Kucinich will never, ever, drop out...once he got into the whole presidential candidate zone, he's been a raging lunatic (and by looney, I mean he will just keep believing that he will become president...thus spending money, borrowing money and continue to garner media attention, even though the media does not want to give him the attention).

Sad really...he was just born in the wrong country (could make a great ambasador of Cuba though :p)

When he finds a wife or the transmissions from Jupiter stop, whichever comes last.

Kucinich knows that he cannot win. He's still in it because he's raising enough money to stay in it, and he's getting his message out on the news and at debates. The message is more important than winning to him.

Her vote on ending the Bosnian arms embargo and voting 17 billion to fund the IMF are MUCH worse than the Abacha piece. It IS true that she was friends with Maryam Abacha, and that Braun arrived right after the Abacha's son DIED.

In addition, as Bill Richardson, then a congressman from New Mexico and is now that state's governor, submitted: "...by the fact that she raised human rights issues in Nigeria, she helped our human rights administration push forward initiatives in Nigeria."

There are much BETTER reasons to hate Braun...I embrace most of them, and am glad she ran, glad she's out, and wish that more women who weren't trying to reflect male values in society ran for President, and brought something truly non-patriarchical to the table, without it becoming Oprahesque in its exclusivity...

Really...what's this country "about" to you, then?

Just give us a list of, oh ten words/phrases/sentences that describe what you think this country is "about."

    I'm interested.
