Carlos Ruiz told a Salvadorian radio station that he might stay in MLS if they give him the $$$ he wants. I heard this through a Salvadorian friend I have. Now, my question is, MLS owns his contract for two more years. MLS could sell his contract for a big cash or play him in Mexico or else during the off season. Or even worst, MLS could force Carlos to stay in MLS, in order to help the league to raise its soccer level. Ruiz is very famous in LA and his aggressive style and goals are already bringing good crowds to Pasadena.

Has anyone actually seen proof that the League owns his contract into the future. There seems to be a lot of disagreement over this.

I just heard that he has signed whatever paperwork the Gua FA require for him to be on the Municipal squad once the G season is over. He'll be with 'El Rojo' until Dec 25th.

Actually, this is a much better arrangement than with Luis. He will be with LA for preseason and if he's only with Muni until Xmas, that'll give him a month or so to rest before MLS preseason starts back up.

yes, he is part of the Galaxy US Open roster for the final. Remember that a good cash will be given to the winner. He played all US Open Cup game so far, why not the final?

Es mas, I dont even know if Carlos Ruiz, indeed signed a 3 years contract with MLS. If anyone in here knows about his current situation with the galaxy, please post it here. I'm sure that Carlos Ruiz will do much better financially in MLS or in Mexico or Europe than staying with Municipal. We will soon know the truth

Juan if you had bothered to read the article you would of seen were it says he has a four contract with MLS.

I just posted this to back up what PZ said about him signing with Municipal for the rest of their season.

si, siertamente, lei el articulo, but did not notice it. I think MLS is looking for a big cash or just play him here and Municipal or Mexico. I think the Municipal deal has nothing to do with MLS, which is very weird. But, I think Ruiz is currently helping MLS and his Galaxy club. The gap left by Hernandez seems to be irrelevant at this point.
