    Cheers Carlos!

Once they put him in the middle of the Nat defense he'll be there for a long while.

Congrats to Carlos! He had an awesome year, he surely deserved it!

  7. I told you, guys! In my opinion, Carlos is one of the top players in MLS already. Remember that he beat about 60 other defenders (at least 40 of them are regular starters) in this competition. What is very promising is his ability to attack both with his head and dribbling/with his feet. I think his capabilities could best be utilized in a winger position in a 4-4-2 system. We have seen him in action in this position (earlier) this year with extremely good results. He is also very good as a central defender. If anything, his attitude off the field could be a little better but it just seems that it is due to his personality that will not change so easily.

I think his national team future is very bright and he should become a regular starter very soon.

    Congrats, Carlos! Well earned.

Now let's hope this doesn't add to our salary cap problems...

For anyone missing Lubos Kubik, I give you Carlos. I think he will only get more offensive-minded in the future.

And he will be the anchor of the US Nats backline. Congrats!

so who from the fire automatically wins next year? do you think we can have a 2/3/4 way tie?

Carlos was also named to the MLS Best XI. The only Fire player.
