He played NCAA ball at St. Mary's College in the San Francisco Bay Area in 2005 and 2006, but did not play in 2007 because of a major knee injury suffered while playing summer ball for the PDL San Francisco Seals. Very interesting. Thanks for the heads up. I vaguely remember Diaz's name from the U-20 pool a year or two ago. It will be gret if he can catch onto Blackpool's side. If I remember correctly they haven't do too bad as a promoted side. Pretty sweet he was noticed right off the bat and he's been training with the 1st teams. Good luck to Carlos, I hope he latches on.
