No team with money will buy him he is way way too small (5'5.....) for europe. Giovinco is taller and he really hasn't been given a shot since going to Juve and is ITALIAN !!! I just don't see him in euro football. Santos can probably even pay him more money then the euro teams that will want to buy him.

That and he is close to the top 10 player appearances for Santos + all time top scorer he is already 4th. 1 more season and he can be 2nd or 3rd.

I don't see him leaving and honestly I don't think it will really effect his career.

I don't see the size for his skill being the factor. JFQ is 5'6", Messi is 5'8", Maradona was 5'5", Defoe is 5'6".....

All the other things you listed have more reasoning.

Quintero is not a finished product and is a promising player. Maradona and Messi are 1 in a lifetime type players. Messi is also a beast. Darwin is 5'5 and 130 pounds tops!!!

Spanish league where most the guys are 5'7 to 5'9 might not be a big issue but a league with tall players it's going to be an issue that he is the size of a girl.

He's not looking to score goals based on winning headers. He's an AMF turned striker ala Aguero. You make it sound like scoring against teams like Lanus is easy for a 'girl'. Again, he's likely perfectly comfortable (and wealthy) in Santos so why move? But some players also want accomplish things that money can't buy. All I'm saying is he's a fantastic player to watch.

absolutely he's a joy to watch..if he keeps it up I'm sure he will be called up for the NT for the copa america..wc I'm not really sure. I also agree he reminds me a lot like aguero, mind you aguero is not six feet neither lol

Too short/weak for EPL. Spain or Portugal would be good for him

Y tu sigues con esa maricada/estupidez/huevonada de que el ser chiquito y flaco es un limitante para jugar en una liga? madura llave.

All I'm saying is Darwin is an extraordinary player and at 27 he can still have 4-5 years of EPL flight. He's the kind of guy who had to try extra hard to make it. Yes, most guys his height struggle but there are some jewels and he's one of them.

Don't they suck now? Him leaving Santos for another Mexican team seems like a dumb move. It's because of money. It's not like he has any more of a shot at the NT or winning trophies with Anerica.

Hope Renteria keeps progressing even without Quintero

@EricGomezFOX: The #LigaMX transfer record will be shattered, according to many, when #América announces Darwin Quintero: 18 million dollars.
