Gomez is injured for a couple of weeks!

Half an hour on the pitch was all it took. Welcome to Europe.

At least I see Cortez is back playing in Rangers after his long injury. But these injuries seem to happen a lot with our boys. I remember when Duran got injured for a long time without even playing. Just training, and now he's doing fine. Even more than fine.

Back on the bench after the mystery injury. Hopefully he can get his first minutes on home soil tonight.

Seems like Gomez got his first start today vs Le Havre.

2nd half just starting. 0-0 still, didn't see the first half.

....and he scores his first golazo for the club in the 54th minute.

Outside of Duran this guy has some of the best shot accuracy in our player pool.

Gómez is screwed. He was a bench player all these games, so now they sold one of the three players that were starters so I thought finally Gomez will become a starter, but no, a 21-year old kid appears out of nowhere and immediately takes the spot in the starting lineup and comes stays on the bench.
And I guess none or at least few of these players cost as much as Gomez did.

he is adapting and is 21. If he isnt good enough they will loan him. We have other guys and no need to rush players. He was also great when he played on the SNT so dont care about club form

its not easy coming from big bad MLS to a real league. Reality hits you hard and you'll find out real quick what the truth is

Still don't know if this guy scored today. Half of the reports say he did, other half say he assisted.

I think he only plays on the right side but he could be in the next call up if he can get some playing time. No guajaro so can we make him play on the left

He can play the left but he seems more effective on the right. I would rather Sini play the left though but as you know he is always injured. Hopefully he will be healthy come June.

Cucho is an option only cause Lorenzo absolutely must play him there for some strange reason.
Carrascal is also an option and I may be leaning towards that as the most likely non risky thing Lorenzo might do unless he puts J Arias there like he did at the start of the cycle.

Cucho has only played centrally in Spain, I'm sure Sinisterra will be injured, I've lost all faith in him. He needs to retire

Carrascal is useless and should never be called up again. If Gomez can play on the left then he needs to be brought back

Just scored against Marseille. Given how few minutes he's had he must have a pretty good minutes/goal ratio.
