I just got a great deal on the Official Adidas Roteiro ball which will be used in the Euro Cup this summer (I got it for $70 on ebay from a seller named "threelions" though it retails at $130). That ball is incredible, but I need advice on caring and cleaning it. Thanks.

ps - any advice on cleaning and caring for leather Predators (not the Mania kangaroo ones, but the Manic calf leather version) appreciated too.

. . and no I 'm not spoiled; I got both at a deep discounts!

You have to love your ball... caress your ball... check it for lumps.

Soccer balls don't need a lot of care. Stitching is done with man-made materials now, so you don't have to worry about rotting because of mud between the panels. The only thing I would do is to deflate it a bit after you use it.

the rotiero is very plasTic. i read that its designed to be very very water resistant. I clean my two nike balls with a wet paper towel and dry them with another.

top match balls should deflate themselves, but it doesn't hurt to help it a bit with a pump. so you don't out stretch the seams

And dont kick it against cement, concrete, abestos...

Thats how I ruined my cheap nike ball....But still, consider the stitching not bad cause my ball is still in a sphere-like shape and kick-a-ble :p
