7 times a top 10 World Player of the Year. That is amazing. For seven years, FIFA considered him one of the top 10 players in the world. And he really scored often for a player who wasn't an out-and-out striker; his CL record is amazing (nothing on Ruud's, but hey, Ruud is one of the world's most prolific strikers) and 49 international goals is fantastic. What a player.
