U forgot that he was a drugs cheat and that he knocked England out of the 86 World Cup with the cheating 'hand of god'.

Maradona may hav scored a great goal but he was a cheat and now he is just a sad fat fvck.

He joins the same group as Gerogie Best, Paul Gazza, and Rio Ferniand... Guess the GREATEST EVER has to learn English....

The English shouldn't talk when it comes to drugged out and wasted players. Difference is people still come out to see Diego, the world outside of the Uk has all but forgotten Best.

I think you do Gregoriak's efforts, and us all, a disservice with this. Its about viewing the breadth of his career, not about England (I think there may be a dozen threads about that).

Gregoriak, the beginning of the Trophies and Tournaments section is a bit confusing...I believe he won the EUFA cup in 89, but never the European Cup (CL). Maybe it should read:
As always, great job on the stats.

Best isn't English and Rio didn't take drugs (as far as i know neither did Best or Gazza the y were just alcoholics) so takr your cheating Maradona and let him die (isn't far from dying now :D )

I guess he`s a 15-year-old kid who doesn`t know it better yet ... let`s just ignore him (in this thread).

Thanks for pointing that out! The format of the 'Trophies & Tournaments' section certainly can be improved. I was aware of this, and should have gotten it right, but then I`m too lazy, and just copied and pasted it from the first one ;)

I guess those lazy days are over now, will have to do something about that. Your suggestion comes in handy!

The fact i'm not over is the fact that Maradona is considered the 2nd best player ever, even though he was a druggie cheat. Rio gets knoked back for being a druggie all the time when all he did was miss a drug test. Maradona was a cheat and doesn't deserve to be put in the same category as Pele
