5-2 after 3 and a half i hate berman and that annoying former cubs pitcher the cubs pitcher had the stupidity to say that they were still in the running during a cubs-cards game when the cubs were around 20 out of first place... and he had already said that the reds were out of the running (yet much closer than the cubs) i hate the cubs, long live the glory of st. louis

Wow, I underestimated the chances of this Cards team. Lets see if the birds can take down the next best thing to the Big Unit, Schilling.
They took him out a week ago, so recent form is on their side. I'm predicting a close game here, as Shilling is a better pitcher than Finley, but the Cards offense gets a big edge over Backs. We know Shilling is going to be tough, so Finley could be the key to this game. He needs to shut down Arizona to give us a chance. Drew will be back in the line-up, time for him come up big and knock another deep off Schilling.
i'm wondering who is going to catch eli didn't do too much of it this year, mostly platooned in a variety of positions, but he can do it and is better offensively than matheny (hell, eli is also the fastest cardinal) do you jack the line-up by throwing in drew and sitting matheny? i would, but does la russa? oh, and some one please make sure the white rat and his cronies are shutting the ************ up... i don't want to hear any shite coming from jack clark, andy van slyke, ozzie smith, or whomever anymore the game has changed and none of them know how to deal with it
