A cup final for Sam, add a top 10 finish to that and you're looking at what should be the Manager of the Year winner. Fantastic achievement, and some top quality football along the way. That first leg was a wonderful game.

Would you prefer Boro or Arsenal in the final? Boro would be easier, but of course if you get Arsenal then I'm pretty sure (but not definite) that means Bolton will get the uefa cup spot regardless of the result, because Arsenal will surely qualify for the champions league.

 

I don't want to be a killjoy. I am very happy to be a Wanderers fan these days - I just hope we are not setting ourselves up for a very, very big fall.

The squad is completely out of contract at the end of the season. We've known this for some time. While all the squad keep saying publicly how happy they are at Bolton - there's no telling what's going to happen.

It's completely conceivable that some of our players who Sam gave a lifeline to are going to get swooped up - I'm not just talking about JJ.

This time next year things could be very, very ugly. I know this isn't a particularly positive post. But what realistically can we do? We've got to try and get Bruno, Davies, Youri, Thome and the like into new contracts.

I hope we aren't waiting for a domino effect - i.e., if Okocha signs then everybody else will fall into place - just don't think it's going to work like that

I'm enjoying the moment - but v. v. nervous about the future.

least with boro - bolton it would be alot more pasionate as both teams dont get to win much too often, namely ever.

Sam is the Manager of the Year EVERY year in my book. He is why I hope Bolton never gets relegated.

So you don't think I've got much chance? I've got family that are season ticket holders, but I imagine they're using their allocation. I was going to call one of the ticket lines. Don't see how I could get the postal application form from the BEN. Guess I could have someone fax it to me. Damnit, why did I not join the club membership program while I was over? Thought I would need to to get tix to the three games in London while I was there, but it was easier to use the season ticket holders rights.

im am glad its going to be a boro-bolton final, it will have a great atmosphere compared to the joke that is arsenals vocal support. It will have a proper final atmosphere and 2 highly committed teams, if it were arsenal it would just be another excuse for the media to ride the arsenal *#*#*#*#, at least now the final will be a very interesting affair between 2 teams both never qualified for europe and both unsuccessful in the trophy department.
