Premier League Saturday, November 30, 9:00 AM (CT) on NBCS Cardiff City Stadium This is technically one of the easiest games on paper in the next few weeks, however, Cardiff is no slouch and have played quite well this season. It's obvious that the lads have been getting overplayed the last few weeks so hopefully he can give the likes of Theo, Flamini or Gnabry a shot. Regardless of who plays and who we play against, it's a must win. So bring on Cardiff, COYG! KILL!
Yeah, this could be a bit of a banana skin. Especially when they've gotten results against both the Manchester clubs and their bitter Welsh rivals.
I disagree- Cardiff had that comeback last week and will perfectly fine if we take all three points, given that result. I fully expect an ugly win by le arse. 1-2.
Put Theo up top and Gnabry out wide right. When Ox comes back, put him out left. That would be one ass kicker of an experimental lineup.
Thanks to your thread Kevin, it reminded me to check my DVR. Good thing because my *arsenal* rule wasn't automatically finding the match to record... because my guide doesn't say "Cardiff vs Arsenal" but rather just "English Premier League". This year you have to be much more on your toes, because: (A) our venerable Arsenal on TV thread has fallen by the wayside (Epi Epi where fore art thou Epi?), and (B) NBC for some reason doesn't always seem to release the team names to the providers guides as early or as descriptively as Fox used to do in years past. I'll be away for this one (man do I wish I was really away as in an away supporter) so not sure if I'll be able to catch it live. But of course... COYG!!! p.s. A very Happy Thanksgiving to all of the American Gooners on this board.
Could be a slip up. Need to rest some players. Heard both Poldi and Diaby are on the comeback trail. Diaby starting to jog. Chesney Sagna Per Verm Nacho Arteta Flamini Rosicky Gnabry Theo Santi
i will replace Rosicky for Gnabry and put Jack Wilshere in MD ....Time for OG & OZ & Rambo to rest...lots of game on horizon....GOOD LUCK GUNNNNNER!!!!!
Honestly we shouldn't rest THAT much. I would keep PER/Kos in the backline, and I wouldn't rest all of Giroud/Ozil/Wilshere/Ramsey the same time. That's TOO MUCH I think to rest the same time. I would probably keep Wilshere on and one of Giroud/Ozil. And I'm not sure they would rest Ramsey aginst Cardiff so I would maybe go with.... Sagna----Per---Kos--Nacho -------Arteta---Ramsey----- -------------Rosicky-------- Walcott-----Giroud---Cazorla
true. the only final before that (that i know of) was when we won the southern professional charity cup on 1906.
sicknote should be sold. if he ever comes good, i'll eat my hat (fried, steamed, poached, grilled and boiled...)
Cardiff: Marshall, Taylor, Caulker, Turner, Whittingham, Medel, Campbell, Kim, Mutch, Cowie, Theophile-Catherine. Subs: Lewis; Hudson, Cornelius, Odemwingie, Noone, Gunnarsson, Bellamy. The man you must respect: Lee Mason That bench is infinitely better than in recent years...
