Bored and looking for a good laugh? I recommend making your way over to the Vancouver boards and reading about their newest supporters group.

I always knew there was something funny about those Canadians.

I had to read the entire thread. It's really an enjoyable topic; Captain Douchebag himself (The thread starter) is really gung-ho about this, and won't take "No, that's a really stupid idea and you are a stupid man for suggesting it" for an answer. :D

Wow, just wow. We might as well move that threat over here; I don't think they'll be able to take it back.

Can't see it at work, but I'm guessing the "Evil Bert" clip? These guys make Hoouk look cool.

Oh, and my conscience got the better of me, as I decided not to type a really nasty rendition of "we're forever blowing bubbles" that I was going to suggest as their main song.

I feel sorry for the two guys there with Ian. They look embarrassed to be there with him and Evil Bert. Is he actually wearing soccer socks along with the short old-school soccer shorts? I'd feel more sorry for him if he didn't look so content in his own little world. He and Captain Commodore Screw should get along just fine.

The hits just keep on coming.

Two Sounders fans are starting a new supporters' group called...I shit you not...the "Legion of Xtreme Soccer Fans." That's right: "Xtreme."

As a special added bonus, the two founders have trademarked their own names: "Mr. Mohawk" (tm) and "Wotan" (tm).

The web site these two put together (1) describes themselves as "heroes" and (2) offers for sale a scarf with their own pictures on it. Their mission statement is apparently to take watching soccer to "the next level" and they use, apparently without irony, the tag line "It's time to get Xtreme!" (Oddly, they do not attempt to trademark this phrase).

You can't make this stuff up...

They're goal is to help children, but they only promise to donate 10% of all proceeds? I think these tools figured out that you can pay yourself a salary for running a non-profit.
