    I think that he, like the rest of us, was looking for a flag. But the replays showed the linesman got it right by allowing the goal. Ah, memories. Hopefully we can score four goals a bit more often this year.

    nice. just got home from work and am almost done with my second of many mich goldens. fsc isn't working so im missing the manu-arsenal match. so thats my excuse for drinking tonight, in case anyone is keeping score at home.

    Was really fun watching the '92 Charity Shield. Interesting that I was just this past weekend talking about the shirt numbers with my son, and the fact that way back when, the starters were all numbered from 1 (keeper) to 11 based upon position.
    Question: Was there a rule that dictated that and when did it change? Or was it just tradition that changed with the advent of player's names on the back of the jersey?
