    Of course......

Nikki Haley vowed once again to pardon Donald Trump should she defeat him in the Republican primary and win against Joe Biden in November, The Independent reports.

Said Haley: “We’ve got to leave the negativity and the baggage behind. I don’t want this country divided any further. I don’t think it’s in the best interest for America to have an 80-year-old president sitting in jail and having everybody upset about it.”

Nikki - it really doesn’t matter how SCOTUS rules on the issue of Presidential immunity…as Republican immunity will always remain as long as you elect republicans like me.

That's how she's threading the Trumpian needle. Makes as much sense as anything, actually.

Dean is still running? He became sort of known for being an out of touch prick.

Nader should be in the Green Party primary, no?

    Nikki, Nikki, Nikki.....

Nikki Haley told NPR that President Biden presents a bigger threat to the country if reelected than Donald Trump.
While critical of both men — who she called “too old” to be president — she said “Biden is more dangerous” due to his management of immigration and the economy.
Haley also hinted that, if Biden and Trump were to face a rematch, she would back Trump.

so Fashpac this year was full of neonazis and liz truss.

i wonder if we will be treated to dozens of articles about jewish americans fearing to go to conservative conferences because of openly antisemitic content.

nah. its fine when republican leaders do it.

I am sure this will be ridiculed but if this sentiment is strong enough it might be enough to push a few swing states Trump's way.

Michigan is up next with its primary. I voted by mail, Biden of course.

There's a push by leftists (The likes of Tlaib, Levin who lost by 20% in a primary for a Congressional District) to vote uncommitted but it'll most likely be sound and fury signifying nothing.

Five people do not a mass movement make. And most people don't care about Palestine. It's nothing more than a cause celebre amongst vocal and terminally online leftists.

Michigan is home to 300K people with MENA ancestry. Biden won the support of over 2/3 of that group in 2020. Biden's margin of victory in Michigan was 154K last time around.
The idea that there is absolutely no risk of losing that state through a combination of loss of Muslim-Americans' support and a less enthused youth vote seems very optimistic, to say the least.
Also, the Dem leadership seem far less sure than you are of the fact that this is not going to be a problem, considering their recent efforts to reach out to the Muslim-American community.

I don't think you realize how big Michigan is population wise. Or what most of the citizenry is like. A lot of the Middle Eastern people here aren't citizens and thus can't vote. Also, this is a state with 10 million people living here, Bush won Arab Americans in 2000 (Dating myself) but he lost MI by 5 points. That should be telling, and that's that they aren't as significant as you think.

We'll see on Tuesday, but I'll say it again, Palestine isn't the big deal people like to think it is. See the New Hampshire results.

EDIT: Should add that the Arab Americans that can vote have been going GOP for a while, and it's not because of Palestine. But mostly how much they despise gay people. The mayor of Hamtramck for instance is meeting with the likes of Michael Flynn.

Some poling has Trump winning 20+% of the black male vote vs Biden with 49%. (National Pols)

Yes in South Carolina Biden got 90+% of the primary vote. Not much of a protest vote there.

Michigan is the biggest test for the Israel-Hamas war, if Biden gets less that 70% of the vote in Michigan, then yes, there may be an issue.

But if Biden wins more than 90%, then it will be another example of how Twitter is not real life.

    We will see.
